ICE CONDITIONS   02-23-10  Reminder:  All fish houses must be removed from the lakes by the end of the month.  02-02-10   The ice on Big Sandy is much smoother now, since the last snowfall. There is a good 22" to 24" of ice in many areas.   01-20-10  Andy S. reports that the ice on Big Sandy is a good 18" overall in depth.  The surface for driving is pretty rough, due to the slush earlier in the season. 

02/23/10  There was just a dusting of snow last night (about 1/2 inch).  The trails are still beautiful, despite the warmer weather last weekend.  Two more inches of snow would make the trails perfect, but our best chance for any snowfall is not until Sunday, February 28th.

02/15/2010   We picked up an inch of snow yesterday.  The trails are groomed and are better than they've been in years. 

02/10/2010  The trails are groomed and are in great shape, even though we only picked up about 2 inches of snow so far this week.
